It's the new fiscal year FY 2014-2015 . New year , new start , new planning !

Kelly Liew has been chosen to be the New President of the Leo Club of Riam Road Secondary School for the fiscal year 2014/2015.

Her 3 Vice Presidents  are Rene Raj Kishen, Chin Li Min and Cindy Chong. The  secretary  is  Michelle Moi Lai Feng,  the treasurer is Juliana Fong Xiao Ni, while the Tail Twister is Ashleigh May Lim Ee Yin and the Tamer is Nehemiah Ling Hou Tat.

          

 A total of 12 members have been chosen as Directors. They are Brandon Tan Chern Chieng, Adeline Yong Qian Yi, Yong Xu Cheng, Chieng Khai Hong, Kong Kah Ying, Tony Tiong Foo Kai, Wanthur Yong Tze Wang, Jack Wong Jie Xin, Grace Wong Shin Yee, Brandon Wong Shou Yuan, Choo Chin Wen and Charlene Tan Zhee Chien.

3 Leo Faculty Advisors  ,Madam Diana Yeoh Ban Kheng,Madam Ling Kiew Liong  & Miss Lily Wong  assist  Leo Advisor Lion Christina Tiong in  guiding the Riam Road Secondary School Leo Club.

Madam Diana Yeoh  shared that “in 1957 the Leo Club  movement was established in USA .One of  the main objectives  of the Leo Club is to train youths to serve the community. Encouraging them to be more involved in community services also helps to enhance their  leadership qualities

Today  there are  160,000  Leo Club members in  6100  clubs (2550 Alpha Clubs and 3550 Omega Clubs)  in 138 countries

The acronym LEO   stands  for Leadership, Experience, Opportunity.”

In the new fiscal year , we hope to higher  heights of service to our community .We will grab all the opportunity to help more people and make the world a better place. Last but not least , we want to thanks our sponsoring lions club , Lion Club of Miri Mandarin for all the support and we really do appreciate it.
