Last month , a total 5 Leos from our Leo Club joined the Youth Exchange Programme to Thailand . They are President Kelly Liew Ying Qi , Immediate Past President Law Ai Hung , Treasurer Juliana Fong Xiao Ni , Leo Christy Liew Yie Ching and Leo Lu Chen Wan.
We started our journey on the 10th of December . All of us woke up super early that day to catch out our early flight. Everyone seems restless but excited and also nervous to see their hosting family. After arrived KLIA 2 , we met with the PDG Augustine and other YEs from Sarawak . There are total 12 Leos from District 308-A2 . Although this is our first meet but everyone seems to be nice to each other. We had a lunch together .
Around 4;30 pm Thailand local time , we arrived Bangkok International Airport . The Lions gave us the warmest welcome . They gave us rosette and bannerette as welcoming present.
After that , we enjoy a grand welcoming dinner which is also the Lions Club 25th Anniversary Dinner. The dishes served on the dinner were different compare to Malaysia but it is also delicious. We enjoyed it very much. The first day in Thailand ended with numerous photograph with Lions . we enjoyed our day so much.
