Sharing Corner : Life in Thailand as A YE Day 1

Today is my first day of being a YE form Malaysia. I wake up on 4:00 in the morning to catch up my flight . All the YEs from my city gather at the airport on 6:00am to have a group photo session. They are total 5 YEs from our Region. It is my pleasure to be one of the YE to represent Malaysia to visit Thailand . After landed in KLIA 2 , we meet PDG Augustine and other YEs from Sibu and Kuching. They are total 12 YEs from the District 308-A2 this time . We received our name card and name tag from PDG . Soon , we reached the Bangkok International Airport after 2 hours of flight. The local time of Thailand is one hour slower than us .

The Lions from Bangkok gave us the warmest welcome , that’s surely a remarkable one. Everyone received a bannerette from the Lions . The Lions were so happy to see us.
Then we went to the Lions Club 25th Anniversary Dinner and it was also our welcoming dinner . We travel to the restaurant by car for more than an hour. It was really a long journey , but it was also fun because the Lions kept on talking to us . The dinner was attended by more than 1000 Lions . The food served was great although it seems different from the food served in Malaysia . We enjoyed it very much .Everyone seems like to take picture with us.

After the dinner , I followed my hosting parents , Mr & Mrs. Boonsoong went home. In this trip Leo Christy Liew was also staying with me for 12 days . Other than that four YEs from Sibu , Stethanine , Jacquline , Ivana and Daphne also stayed with us for the first three days before going to other states . Once again , it took us almost 2 hours to go home . We reached home around midnight and everyone had fell asleep , only three cute Golden (dogs) welcome us . We said goodnight to our parents and went to our room to rest.

We were quite pleased to our room . It was clean and neat , comfortable to stay in. Once again thanks to our hosting parents.

Yours in Leo Spirit
